Our Story
Country Dust is a small country business, proudly owned and operated by me.
Behind the scenes, I’ve got my mum Shelly (who does all the hard yards) and my beautiful little boy Tommy — our very cute dashie with a big heart — who keeps us all in check.
I’m from a small country town in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. Growing up surrounded by mountains and open skies shaped everything I love — and everything Country Dust stands for.
At Country Dust, I’m the designer and photographer behind every piece. Every design starts with me.
Where It All Began
My story started back in 2020.
Bushfires were burning around us.
Covid had hit.
I was studying Early Childhood Education and honestly felt a little lost.
I needed an outlet. Something creative. Something grounding.
I’ve always loved drawing and design, so I started sketching ideas for footy shorts and T-shirts. That’s when the name Country Dust was born — representing the journey from the mountains to the outback.
I wanted designs that felt like home.
But for five years… it stayed a pipe dream.
Bringing the Dream to Life
In 2025, while off work injured, I was cleaning out my cupboard when I came across my old drawings and photos. Some were inspired by friends and family. Looking at them again reignited something in me.
At just 21, I decided to throw myself into the deep end — with absolutely no idea where to start.
I began with five designs of footy shorts.
I showed them to family, friends, and a longtime trucker mate. The feedback was everything I hoped for:
“Great quality.”
“Nice designs.”
“Easy fit.”
“Cool to wear.”
That was all I needed.
Country Dust came to life — a dream I’d once buried.
The Journey Today
I’m still learning the ropes, and I’m proud of that. Every day I grow, learn, and build something better.
You’ll find Mum, Tommy and I at Field Days, Markets, Shows and Rodeos whenever we can get there. If you ever see us at an event, please come and say hi — I would absolutely love to meet you in person.
Country Dust offers a range of sizes from Kids 0 through to Adults 5XL (with larger sizes available to order). Our clothing is designed to last — uniquely designed by me, packed by me, and delivered to your door.
My goal is simple:
To make your shopping experience stress-free, easy, and enjoyable.
